Our Farmers Market Season Begins with Maplefest!

Cayuta Sun Farm’s pastured pork and chicken is on sale every weekend in 2019 beginning with best maple festival west of Podunk!
The following Saturdays through December of 2019 you will find us at the Ithaca Farmers Market.

10 am to 4 pm.

Find the sugar shack nestled between sheep pasture and hedgerows, wandering ducks, and the mushroom maple woods. Search for the scent of maple syrup and BBQ. Listen for music and laughter among a small crowd of forest-loving people.
In a yurt overlooking the pastures, Cayuta Sun Farm pork and poultry products will be for sale. We’ll be joined by the Finger Lakes Cider House, BeeSpoke Apothecary, and Seneca Sunrise Coffee in a festival market.

Holiday Pop-Up Farmers Market @Watkins Glen Village Christmas Festival

The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce along with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County are setting up our local farms to sell cheese, produce, meats, jams, and more during the Watkins Glen Village Christmas festivities.

Cayuta Sun Farm is happy to join this market. We’ll bring a selection gourmet pork and poultry for your holiday meals. You can reserve and make a deposit in advance and pick up at market.

Cayuta Sun Farm will be attending the Annual Farmers Market held for Thanksgiving shoppers in Press Bay Alley. Come by Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm to shop among your neighbors and friends.

Prepare your feast with produce and meats from local small farms. We encourage you to try out our new online market preorder system. Make a deposit for roasts or other cuts and a package will be waiting for you on the market day you select.

Bringin’ Bacon to Maplefest at Wellspring Forest Farm

Instead of our regular farmers market schedule, we’re taking our pastured meats to the best maple festival west of Podunk!

Visit the enchanting Wellspring Forest Farm
in Mecklenburg, NY
this Saturday, March 17,
10 am to 4 pm.

The sugar shack is nestled between sheep pasture and hedgerows, wandering ducks, Buck Hill Pond and the mushroom maple woods. You will find the scent of maple syrup, a pizza oven and a BBQ, the sounds of music and laughter, plus a scene full of forest-loving farmers among gourmet food fans.
Just up the path from the boiling syrup, in a yurt overlooking the pastures, Cayuta Sun Farm will be showcasing our bacon and smoked pork products. We’ll be joined by the Finger Lakes Cider House, Acorn Designs, BeeSpoke Apothecary, and Ort Family Farm in a festival market.

BACON ALERT: Our naturally brined and smoked bacon is in low supply… this event may be the last of our belly, shoulder and back bacon until June.

HAM ROASTS: We have a collection of smoked ham end roasts… perfect for a holiday feast.

CHICKEN: A few Dark Cornish roasters and some regular whole broiler chickens will be available.
